Best of all, it arrives ready to install and is custom built to your application. All of this for a less than an exotic price tag.
Our cases are made from the strongest 356T6 aluminum alloy. They have thickened case walls with additional material to support a stronger full-width 307 main drive bearing and a countershaft sealing soft plug. We have also reinforced and thickened the mounting ears. As a final touch, user-friendly straigh thread fill and magnetic drain plugs with sealing O-rings have been added.

If you’ve been looking, you know that good extensions for thirty-year old Muncies are hard to come by. This model has the addition of a backbone rib, a stiffened reverse shift tower and an enlarged oil seal shroud.
Every time you shift, your Muncie’s heavy main shaft assembly is thrown back and forth, restrained only by two snap rings and your mid-plate. Think of it as a slide hammer and it’ll be no surprise that many aluminum mid-plates are distorted at the snap ring groove. Our mid-plate is made from shock-resistant iron and loaded with shock and awe.
It was discovered that the shifter shafts in many high-mile side covers are running elongated bores, causing new oil seals to fail prematurely. Here’s the fix — bushed side cover for extreme shifting conditions.
